A smart wearable watch is being developed by Intex, which is useful to ensure child saftey. The Intex iRist Junior has good design also has inbuild tracking device and it also has parental guidance, to helps in ensuring safety of child.
Smartwatch works on 2G services. It has Location-based Service (LBS) enabled which makes the smart watch a tracking device. Its Geo Fencing allows parents to restrict child moving area, as it allows parents to pre-define child movement boundary, whenever child crosses that boundary it notifies to parents.
The smartwatch has inbuild Auto Call and Voice Chat features. Auto Call enables parents to reach out to their kids by listening to the surroundings without child answering the call. Voice Chat feature on the other hand enables the child to talk to parents and friends, thereby enabling a smooth two-way communication for toddlers.
To ensure more saftey of child, device has SOS button on the top right side of the watch. By simply pressing the button, the kid can send an alert message to a pre-defined list of people who can be reached out for help in case of trouble.
Smartwatch is designed specially for parents who are not able to constantly track their child. The smart watch is light weight, water resistant and is available in kid friendly colours which make the device an ideal wearable for them.
