Chinese handset maker, Oppo has officially announced the releasing the date of R9 and R9 Plus smartphone. As per the company, the Oppo flagship will be launched at an event in Beijing on March 17th.
Moving on to the specifications
Oppo R9 is expected to come with 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.As per the rumour, this device is expected to come with an Octa-core processor besides 4GB RAM, 32GB ROM and an expandable memory up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the imaging factor, this device flaunts a 16MP camera on both sides under the hood. Talking about the software, this device is powered by a Color OS on top of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. The connectivity options includes 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual-band), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Fingerprint sensor.
The R9 is rumoured to come juiced with 2850mAh battery with VOOC Rapid Charge. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the Oppo R9 Plus comes similar specification as R9 apart from display, battery and expandable memory. According to the rumour, the R9 Plus might come packed with a 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.
Also, the device comes with 64GB of inbuilt memory and 4120mAh battery with VOOC Rapid
