  • Apple WWDC 2016: iPhone maker announces iOS 10, Siri for Mac and new iMessage

    • Apple unveiled iOS 10, the latest iteration of its mobile software, which includes a softer aesthetic, an interactive lock screen, and personalised home screen widgets.
    • The software update also includes a revamp of Music, News, Maps and Home Kit.
    • Siri launched on Mac, as it was given a massive makeover that includes voicemail transcription, image search and writing messages.
    • WatchOS and tvOS have been redesigned too, with the Apple Watch becoming faster and more health-focused, and TV gaining enhanced search.
    • OS X was rebranded macOS, the next generation of which will be called Sierra and come complete with Siri, Apple Pay and auto-unlock. A host of new features also make it easier to work across Apple devices.

    Summary :
Apple has revealed plans for all its devices in the coming year including a more intelligent Siri and Messages app, quicker Apple Watch and easier to use laptops.
At the technology firm's annual software conference, WWDC, chief executive Tim Cook and fellow executives revealed software updates for all of Apple's products - iPhone, iPad, Mac computers, Apple Watch and Apple TV - with Mr Cook saying the company's work "should lift humanity".
The annual refresh of the mobile operating system saw iOS 10 unveiled. The most prominent feature revolves around the Messages app, which has seen its interactivity expanded. Users will be able to replace words with emoji in a single tap, and send handwritten notes, while special "invisible ink" messages will appear when the screen is swiped, and animations can be added to a conversation that fill the entire screen.
The app has also been opened to developers for the first time so it can be used to complete financial transactions and other tasks.
The move is seen by some as a response to the growing popularity of other messaging apps, including WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.

As part of the update to Apple's desktop computer software, OS X was renamed macOS, with this year's version named Sierra after the mountain range that spans California and Nevada.
Siri, Apple's voice-based virtual assistant, has been added to the Mac for the first time, as has the ability to pay using Apple Pay. An option to use the payment service will appear on websites, with confirmation requests sent to a user's phone, where they can use their fingerprint to authorise them.
Mac users will also be able to use their Apple Watch to unlock a Mac when in close proximity to their laptop.
Apple Music, the subscription-based streaming service launched at WWDC last year, was also given a redesign after many reported the app to be too confusing to use. A user's existing music library has been pushed to the front of the app, with more playlist suggestions being offered by Apple.
All the updates showcased are being made available to developers this week, ahead of free upgrades for all Apple customers in the autumn.
Mr Cook took time out at the beginning of the presentation to pay tribute to the victims of the Orlando shootings, telling the auditorium that Apple offered its "deepest condolences to everyone whose lives were touched by the violence", before leading a moment's silence in tribute.
    India at WWDC
There was quite a bit of India at the WWDC keynote from Priyanka Chop featuring on the homescreen of the redesigned Apple Music app to Craig Federighi, Apple’s SVP Software Engineering (macOS, iOS 10), trying to order a deconstructed samosa from a Indian food cart using the revamped messaging app. Indian food ordering app Zomato found a mention when new features in Maps where being shown. However, there was more for the Chinese audience, as it is still a much bigger market for Apple.

  • Top tips and trick to improve your iOS 9 experience

iOS has been one of the best user experience that smartphone industry has provided to users. Apple is very particular about its updates. As soon as the jailbreak industry starts focusing to jailbreak the new iOS version Apple is out with another IOS version with more features and bug fixes. But people jailbreak is not necessary to improve your IOS experience here are some tips and tricks.

    Low power mode

One of the best feature that I love of IOS 9 is LOW POWER MODE if you aren’t satisfied with the battery backup of your iphone LOW POWER MODE will work as a life savior for you. Basically what it does is allow you to temporarily reduce power consumption by closing things like background app refreshment back ground app activities some visual effects are turned off. This feature saves lot of battery and that is what people want lots of battery you may have seen people carrying power banks with there iphone trust me people if you are at IOS9 you don’t need it any more.

    Reduce motion

Lot of people feel the animation speed is slow and apple needs to speed it up. so here is what apple did now you have a feature that you can access in accessibility menu in general settings by turning this feature on it reduces the amount of animation on your iphone and looks like the phone is acting more faster than earlier . It may also save some battery for you.

    Search bar in setting

The new update has brought you search bar in the setting so that you can quickly access the settings  that you need to change all you have to do is go to settings and swipe down your finger and you will find a search bar.

    Back to app

Back to app feature so basically what it does is suppose you are in WHATSAPP and having a pretty good time chatting with your friends suddenly you get a FACEBOOK  notification and you directly click on the notification and switch to FACEBOOK now when you are done with FACEBOOK you will get a option to directly switch back to WHATSAPP where you have left on the top left corner of your screen this save a lot of time and you don’t have to go to your spring board again to switch back.

Swipe to dismiss and thumbnails in photos app

So you are in the photos app you just accidently clicked on the photo you dint wanna open so rather than clicking on the back button what you can do is swipe down your finger from up to down this will close the photo. The thumb nail view is also one of the great update in photos app you  have a thumbnail view of other photos to which you can switch directly without closing the present photo.

    Ambient light

Basically if you put your phone facing down the phone will not light up when you get a notification because the phone knows no body is looking at the screen. This feature also helps in saving battery life.

    Quick reply

Whenever you get a notification you can swipe down with your finger on the notification and quickly reply without opening the app. This may save a lot of time.

    6 digit passcode

Must needed and important feature that I almost forgot to tell you guys. Now you can have 6 digit passcode rather than 4 digit all you have to do is go to settings then go to passcode click on the passcode option and then select 6 digit.

Hope these details may help to improve your IOS experience.Do you know any trick that you want to share with us, comment that in section dwn below..

  • Hidden Tips & Tricks of iOS 9

iOS 9 was released on September 9 2015. First devices to ran the new operating system were the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Currently, there are 21 devices that have been upgraded to the latest OS. On March 31 new version of iOS 9 was released i.e. iOS 9.3.1, that fixes the bug causing applications to become unresponsive and to crash when tapping on a web link.

Now, some of feature and hidden tricks of this OS are:

1.) To call someone from your list of contact, we have to type its name and Siri (Get Siri-ous), the virtual assistant of Apple devices with its predictive search capability, will find that contact immediately. On the left side of the home screen, you’ll see the picture of that contact and in its right side you’ll find the three options: to make a voice call, to send a message or to make a video call.

Notes app allows you to create To Do lists, then sync them to other devices running on iOS 9 and OS X El Capitan. After creating a new note, tap on the plus symbol placed above the keyboard, then start adding new items and finally, make the list complete by tapping on the circle.

2.) Notes has another hidden option – it allows you to add links and attachments by pressing the share icon and choosing Notes while browsing the web with Safari.

3.) If you are lost in a large city or you are unable to figure out your path, then Apple Maps will offer you public transportation directions, no matter if you’re walking on foot or traveling by bus or train. Also, you will know how long it takes to get from one place to the next.

4.) iCloud Drive can be used to sync files between iPhones, iPads and Macs and the shortcut of this application can be added to the home screen by going to Settings > iCloud > Show on Home Screen.

5.) Siri can also remind you to look at a webpage later, in case you don’t have time to explore it right now? Well, if you say “Siri Remind me about this” and add a location or date and time, the intelligent virtual assistant will add that item to your reminders and when the time comes, she will pop-up and give you the link of that specific website.

6.)  iOS 9.3.1 can run Night Shift and Low Power Mode simultaneously, as long as you follow a particular combination.
    • Enable Low Power Mode via ‘Settings –> Battery’
    • Start Siri and say “Enable Night Shift”. Siri will reply: “In order to turn on Night Shift, I’ll have to turn off Low Power Mode. Shall I continue?”
    • Reply “Yes” and press the sleep button before the response is confirmed. You will then hear Siri’s confirmation beep
    • Unlock your iPhone and, providing you did step 3 correctly, you will see both Night Shift and Low Power Mode are enabled at the same time
