  • Le Max 2 : Camera Review

Powered with Snapdragon 820, 4 GB of RAM and no 3.5 MM audio jack, Le Max 2 is one of most exciting and  astonishing smartphone that you get your hand on right now. So today we will get a in depth look at the less talked feature of flagship device from LeEco, its camera.
The Le Max 2 comes with a 21 megapixel rear (primary) camera, which will take extremely high resolution photos. While its 8 megapixel front camera makes it a great choice for selfies. It can capture 4K high definition video with its primary camera, the highest resolution current smartphones support.
    The Front Camera

The camera's max lens aperture size on the LeEco Le Max 2 is about average for smartphones. This isn't a huge factor, but some photo enthusiasts may prefer larger apertures for shallow depth of field photos, or fast action shots.

LeEco Le Max 2 utilizes the same Sony IMX 230 sensor with 21MP resolution we saw on the Meizu Pro 6, Pro 5 and the Moto X Force. It is capable of 5312x3984px snaps in 4:3 aspect. The auto focus uses a hybrid system, incorporating phase detect auto focus in addition to the regular contrast detect system.

The camera UI is simple and you can swipe through the different modes - Photo, Pano, Video and Slow-mo. Live Filters are available, too.In the Photo mode settings you can tweak the ISO, exposure, white balance, contrast, pictures size, among other non-essential stuff.

The HDR mode is meant to get an even wider exposure of a scene - bringing back detail in both the highlights and the shadows. The Le Max 2 does a very good job of bringing back detail in tricky scenes. It's one of the better HDR algorithms we've seen.

Here are some more LeEco Le Max 2 camera samples.

    The Front Facing Camera

Finally, you can check out these 8MP images taken with the front-facing camera of the device. Naturally, it's a fixed-focus one but the focus seems fixed way too close to the camera and unless your head fills the frame, your selfies won't come out nice and sharp.

It's a rather nice camera, but it's ruined by its implementation. You can still get some pretty nice selfies if your work with its limitations.

    The Videos

Le Eco Le Max 2 shoots videos up to 4K resolution (3840 x 2160px) at 30fps and 1080p videos at 30fps. There's no 60fps option.

The 4K videos (41Mbps bitrate) produced by the Le Max 2 are really good. The resolved detail is great, as well as contrast and colors. There is an unusual amount of noise in the shadows even in broad daylight so we'd guess this issue would only get worse once it gets darker. The corner softness, which we witnessed on many of the sample photos we took is, in fact, visible on some of the video samples as well.

The audio recording is stereo, but is recorded at 96Kbps bitrate and it sounds quite shallow. The 1080p videos are good as well with great contrast, an average level of detail and nice colors.

    Conclusion

The 21-megpaixel sensor gets optical image stabilization and a closed-loop motor for better PDAF performance. The camera is quick to lock focus when you change your frame, without needing you to tap the screen. There is some degree of shutter lag as we noticed a slight blur in some images. The bottom line is that the sensor produces well detailed landscapes and macros with neutral colours. In low light and under artificial lightning, chroma noise is well within bounds although the detail level of distant objects isn't the best. 4K and full-HD videos are good although the sensor fails to re-adjust focus when you pan, thereby forcing you to tap the screen manually. Slow-motion video is shot at 720p at 120fps, but the quality is not great.

Le Max 2 : Camera Comparison

The camera app could also use some tweaking. While it's simple and straightforward, it feels incomplete without a professional shooting mode, especially when you have a good sensor. There's panorama mode, filters and voice control. The settings menu also lets you adjust white balance, ISO and exposure, but it's not presented in the most convenient way.

  • OnePlus 3 : Beast in Class

Just two days ago, OnePlus reveals its most anticipated flagship killer smartphone OnePlus 3 with best in class specifications. It not have one of high end hardwares but also features Oxygen OS which is highly customizable. Snapdragon 820, 16 MP Sony IMX298 rear facing and 8MP front facing camera, Dash charging which can make your device ready for entire day in just 30 min and trust us we are just getting started with its specifications.

    The Good Things
There is hardly any doubt about excellence of hardware and software of OnePlus 3. It is in true sense the flagship killer of 2016. despite of having price tag of $399 it easily stand against Samsung S7 and iPhone 6, and in some cases it even surpasss them. Now, here are few good things about OnePlus 3.

Design : The aluminum frame looks and feels very high-quality, though perhaps a little boring.
Camera :  It's a totally capable camera for the price with good detail and accurate colors.
Storage : 64GB of speedy UFS 2.0 storage
General performance : The Snapdragon 820 doesn't get too hot and apps load quickly. As fast as more expensive phones in most instances.
Gestures : The screen-off gestures are useful and reliable.
Fingerprint sensor :  It's one of the fastest and most accurate I've used.
Connectivity : Supports band 12 and VoLTE on T-Mobile, dual SIMs
Alert slider : If you don't mind a few trade offs, this is a handy feature for controlling the notification mode.
    Dash Charge : It's fast.
Price : The $399 asking price is reasonable for what you get. And no invites, finally.

Before we go toward some of bad things about  OnePlus 3, here is quick review of specs of this flagship killer:

    The Bad Things
Display : The color calibration doesn't seem very good, and you can see some PenTile artifacts at 1080p.
RAM : 6GB of RAM in this phone is mostly a marketing gimmick.
Battery : The OnePlus 3 squeaks by with average battery life, but OP used a smaller battery this year than it did last year.
Alert slider again : Disables scheduled downtime and Android Wear notification mode control.
Buttons : I dislike the tiny unlabeled capacitive buttons.
Dash Charge  again : You only get fast charging with the included adapter and cable.

  • LeEco Le Max 2 : Initial Impressions (Video)

Le Max2 is a phone that really can caught your eye in seconds, not only Le Max2 is great phone for the price, but it brings specs and performance comparable to the latest-and-greatest Android flagships from Samsung, LG, and others.

    Le Max 2 : Review
    Overview of Le Max 2
The phone runs on the Android operating system, which is currently the most popular platform on the market. The Le Max 2 comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is the newest Android version available. EUI 5.6, by LeEco, runs on top of Android on this device, offering a customized experience.

    Le Max 2 : Custom Skin 5.6
Le Max2 inexplicably forgoes a 3.5mm headphone jack despite having plenty of room for one. This is clearly an attempt to beat Apple to the punch, but I just can’t see how the target audience of LeEco’s newest phones would be happy with this move. LeEco says the phones have the “world’s first Type-C audio connector” but, as I mentioned before, beating Apple isn’t very beneficial if your audience isn’t going to appreciate the move.

    Specifications of Le Max 2
    • 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display with 95% NTSC color gamut, 450 nits brightness, 538ppi

    • 3,000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0

    Design
While using, the first glance of Le Max 2 for us was unexplainable. Seriously, a premium unibody metal built using aluminum perfectly packed in the stunning package. Only two thin edges above and below on the back are made of plastic in order to ensure good reception. But, they are appealing and hardly distinguishable from the metal. Moreover, the metal frame is sanded on the edges further explicating its beauty. Sadly, the back can not be opened, thus making the battery non-removable.

    Le Lax 2 : Bottom
At the bottom of Le Max 2 there are speakers along with USB type C connector. While at right side there are power buttons that are located just below volume control button.

Le Max 2 : Right Side

    Le Max 2 : Back
At the back, there is 21MP rear camera, fingerprint scanner and A dual tone LED. Lemax 2 is easy to hold and operate with single despite of having massive 5.7inch WQHD screen, the video playback quality is good on this device and a s it comes with dolby atmos, Le Max 2 is made for people who love to use there smartphone for entertainment.

Le Max 2 : Camera and Fingerprint OverView
The Le Max 2 houses a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 MSM8996 system on a chip. Its CPU runs at 2.15 GHz, which is much higher than average for a smartphone processor. With 4 GB of RAM, the Le Max 2 has much more memory than other phones released in 2016.

Le Max 2 : Left side
What we feel till now is Le Max 2 is beast in terms of performance and is certainly one of best designed smartphone available in market. In next few days we will bring out Unboxing, detail review, camera test and gaming review of Le Max 2, so don't  forget to subscribe to our youtube channel.

Asus Zenfone Max 2016 :Final Review Video

The smartphone offers a more powerful processor and comes in two memory variants with a 3GB RAM and a 2GB RAM priced at Rs 12,999 and Rs 9,999 respectively. The new ZenFone Max variants run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and has a built in memory of 32 GB.

The biggest plus point of the phone is its powerful 5000 mAh battery. The smartphone easily gives a battery backup of 2 to 3 days, depending upon the usage. A power saver mode has been installed in the phone, (which is common feature in most high-end smartphones) to adjust processor performance, screen brightness and restricts access to features that use up more battery.

    Camera Quality

Zenfone Max comes with 13 Mega Pixel Laser Auto Focus camera with Dual color tone LED flash[Which helps to capture natural images in Flash]. With the combination of laser auto-focus a and Pixel Master technology, the primary camera can capture decent images indoor lighting condition but in outdoor lighting condition images are over exposure. The 5 MP front facing camera capable of capturing good selfies with beautification and HDR modes. Although this device has combinations of laser auto focus and 13 sensor, it doesn't make great camera but it can capture decent images.

    Battery Life
This handset comes with 5000 mAh capacity battery which is not user replaceable battery. With regular usage it should easily make it through a couple of days before having charger. But, without fast charging support the 5000 mAh battery needs 4 hours to fully charging.

  • Canadian Securities Administrators 2016 Investor Education Survey

A survey conducted by the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) found that changes in the economy (38 per cent) and advice from a financial adviser (36 per cent) are the top two reasons why investors who normally do not review their risk tolerance did so in the last year. Another 17 per cent reviewed their risk tolerance because of a major life change. There was a marked increase in those who said they reviewed their level of risk tolerance in the last year, with 61 per cent reporting they did so – up from the 49 per cent in 2012.
The results are from the 2016 CSA Investor Education Study, the fourth survey on investment knowledge, investor behaviour and incidence of investment fraud among Canadians. Previous surveys were conducted in 2006, 2009 and 2012. The 2016 study also included new questions around barriers to informed investing behaviour and access to investing information.
The survey revealed that there has been a steady increase since 2006 in the percentage of Canadians working with a financial adviser, from 43 per cent in 2006 up to 56 per cent this year. In addition, when it comes to researching investments, most investors rely primarily on their adviser for information. Seven-in-ten investors used their investment adviser as a source when they last looked for investing information, higher than any other information source. Other sources of investing information included media outlets (27 per cent), bank or financial institution's website (26 per cent), and family and friends (26 per cent).
"With more Canadians relying on investment advisers, it is critical that advisers regularly review information with their clients, including risk tolerance, to be certain that their clients' investments make sense for their current situation and future goals," says Louis Morisset, Chair of the CSA and President and CEO of the Autorité des marchés financiers.
Survey respondents view their local securities regulator as one of the most reliable sources of information about investing, with financial advisers and a bank or financial institution's website rounding out the top three reliable sources.
Beyond these major changes, the survey found a number of more stable areas compared to previous surveys:
    • Investor knowledge has been steady over time. In both the new 2016 study and in the 2012 survey, six-out-of-10 Canadians could correctly answer a majority of seven questions measuring investment knowledge.
    • Awareness of provincial securities regulators changed marginally, up three points to 42 per cent this year compared to 39 per cent in 2012.
    • About one-in-five Canadians, 22 per cent, say they have been approached with a suspected fraudulent investment. This is down slightly from 27 per cent in 2012.
    • Of those approached, just 30 per cent say that they reported the most recent attempt. This is steady since 2012, in which 29 per cent said the same.
The new areas of research in the 2016 Investor Education Study explored barriers to good investment behaviour and found, among other things, that:
    • Despite the steady increase in Canadians working with advisers, three-out-of-five investors did not check their adviser's registration.
    • Common barriers to checking an adviser's registration are "I don't know how to check an adviser's registration" and that "I don't need to check an adviser's registration if they work for a major financial institution."
    • However, most Canadians are interested in checking registration if they knew how. Canadians do believe checking registration is worthwhile as 69 per cent disagreed with the statement that "checking an adviser's registration is more trouble than it's worth."
    • Most Canadians, 78 per cent, said they would likely check a new adviser's registration if they started working with one in the future.
For the 2016 CSA Investor Education Study, Innovative Research Group interviewed 4,298 Canadian adults online between February 10 and 20, 2016. Canadians were interviewed in both English and French. The online sample was weighted by age, gender, and province and territory using 2011 Statistics Canada Census data to reflect the actual demographic composition of the population.
The 2016 CSA Investor Education Study Key Highlights Report is available online in both English and French on the CSA website. The key findings are also available on CSA member websites.
The CSA has developed tools to help investors check registration and avoid investment fraud. These resources are available in the Investor Tools section of the CSA website and investors are encouraged to visit the site to learn more about making informed investing decisions.
The CSA, the council of securities regulators of Canada's provinces and territories, coordinates and harmonizes regulation for the Canadian capital markets. Their mandate is to protect investors from unfair or fraudulent practices through regulation of the securities industry. Part of this protection is educating investors about the risk, responsibilities and rewards of investing.

For this specification the overall performance of M3 Note is decent, we initially get great response but as we started doing multitasking the speed decrease rapidly, the device also done decent with average sized games.

    Display and Camera
Meizu M3 note have decent viewing angle and good color production, video playback on device is also great and sound output is good too.

    Meizu M3 Note : Camera
The 13MP rear camera of Meizu M3 Note certainly isn't among the top features of the smartphone. While the image quality was good, we were not very happy with the colour reproduction of M3 Note's camera. Having said that, we were happy with the job that the 5MP selfie camera of the phone did when we clicked a few images with it. Apart from the usual modes that are there in most phones, M3 Note's camera comes with a mode that lets you creates GIFs.
