Nextbit, a San Francisco based technology company, is all set to launch its smartphone Robin in India on May 25. This will be first smartphone of the company. With device company is offering 100GB cloud storage free to its users so that they do not fall short of storage space.
Company has already sent out media invites for an event scheduled to take place on May 25, where it will be unveiling the cloud-first Android smartphone.
Specifications of newly comming smartphone are as follows: It has Google's Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, 5.2-inch full HD display with 1,080x1,920 pixels resolution. The display is protected with special Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The smartphone has fingerprint sensor. Device uses single SIM (GSM) of regular size.
Robin is powered by a 2GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with 3GB of RAM. Users are provided with 32GB of internal storage along with 100GB of cloud storage. There's a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera.
Device measures 149.00 x 72.00 x 7.00 (height x width x thickness). For connectivity device has various options like 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS. The phone houses a 2,680 mAh battery with Quick Charge support. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.
The company launched Nextbit Robin in the US last year starting from $399 (roughly Rs. 26,000). We can expect the India pricing of the handset to be around the same price category. The handset comes in two colour variants: Mint and Midnight.
Recently, Nextbit has got BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) approval from the government of India for the shipment of Robin. Nextbit is also offering free shipping of the phone to India.
Intex Technologies has launched its latest 4G smart phone – Aqua Secure, which comes with a Finger Print Sensor. The tech-based smart phone with bio-metric security will be available at a price of INR 6499
4G-enabled Aqua Secure comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with the latest bio-metric security and finger print sensor at the back panel. The scanner will scan and verify authority, thereby making the smart phone completely secure. The finger print supports features like clicking selfies, phone unlock, access to gallery.

Along with 4G network, Aqua Secure has VOLTE (Voice Over LTE network) feature, which enables high quality HD voice calls. The 1GB RAM and a 1GHz Quad Core Mediatek processor, enable smooth performance and multi-tasking, along with Android Lollipop OS 5.1. The 4G-dual-SIM smart phone has a 1900mAh Li-Ion battery, which offers a talk-time up to 6 hours along with a standby time of up to 8 days.
The smartphone has 5MP Rear AF Camera and 2MP front camera. The device also comes with Panorama mode and slow motion video recording for enhanced camera experience. The device comes with multiple navigation features gesture controls and emergency rescue. The device supports USB C-Type Charging – where charger can be inserted from both side into the mobile charging slot.
Aqua Secure has an in-built 8GB ROM with an expandable memory of up to 32 GB. It has Matrabhasha service that enables communication in 21 regional languages including Hindi. Also has HotKnot feature to share pictures, movies etc with friends by simply getting the Aqua Secure screen closer to other mobile and the sharing process is ON. With Opera MAX, the data saving app, user can control data usage and thus have their plans last 50% longer.

Huawei Honor 5C has been spotted at TENAA, the Chinese regulatory commission. Since it’s been certified, we expect it to be officially unveiled soon, it rumored to launched on 28th april.
According to TENAA, Huawei Honor 5C is a mid-range device that will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box. Huawei’s Emotion UI will run on top of the new OS, so those familiar with the user interface will feel at home on the Honor 5C.
Hardware-wise, the Honor 5C will come equipped with a more than decent 64-bit octa-core Kirin 650 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot for memory expansion.
Huawei’s mid-range smartphone sports a 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. It will also pack a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash, and video recording. An 8-megapixel front-facing camera will be included as well.
There is no information on the battery powering the Huawei Honor 5C, but we know for sure the smartphone will pack a fingerprint scanner on the back side.
When it comes to design, Huawei has tried to give the Honor 5C a premium look by adding a metal-looking finish, at least on the back.
We’re still waiting for more details on the smartphone’s price and availability to emerge online, so stay tuned for updates on the matter. Potential customers should know that Huawei might launch a slightly improved version of the Honor 5C, which is supposed to include 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
