iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus Pictures Reveal Design Changes

The photos from noted tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer show the back and the bottom portion of the iPhone 7. The back reveals a bump in the camera casing, revealing that the camera shall continue to protrude, but will come with a protective ring surrounding it.

The photos also provide conflicting evidence for the inclusion of the 3.5mm audio jack, making the mystery murkier.he camera hole is also a bit larger than its predecessor, and is placed near to the edge of the smartphone hinting at some changes in the camera hardware. It is rumoured that the iPhone 7 will come with a larger CMOS sensor, and these changes are a result of that upgrade.

The photos also show the bottom of the device, revealing the absence of the 3.5mm audio jack. With more free space, there are two speaker grilles alongside the Lightning port. A separate iPhone 7 Plus image reveals the dual camera setup at the back, something that has been rumoured on several occasions previously. On the iPhone 7 Plus, both the rear cameras are aligned horizontally right next to each other followed by the flash sitting beside it.

The next iteration is expected to see minimal design changes with few but crucial upgrades. Apple is expected to unveil its upcoming offering in three variants - iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and iPhone 7 Pro.

  • iPhone 7 Recent Rumors, Might Feature Curved Screen

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo at KGI Securities issued Monday, March 28 a new note in which he says that Apple will entirely revamp its iPhone lineup come 2017. According to Kuo, Apple in 2017 will release a new iPhone with glass casing and an AMOLED display, 9to5Mac said.

More specifically, Kuo believes that Apple will decide between glass, plastic, and ceramic casing for its 2017 iPhone, but that the company will ultimately settle on glass, much like the iPhone 4, “as plastic doesn’t offer thin and light form factor designs, and it would be not easy to precisely control the tolerance of ceramic.”

Additionally, Kuo reports that Apple’s 2017 iPhone will adopt a curved display with curved glass body, 9to5Mac said. Again building on the iPhone 4 design, the device will feature a glass front and back with metal sides. Kuo also says the phone will feature a “completely new form factor design” with more narrow bezels and a “more comfortably grip.”

As rumored in the past, KGI also believes that Apple will introduce a new 5.8-inch iPhone in 2017 with an AMOLED display, the Apple news website reported. Despite the larger display, however, the device will feature a form factor that is ultimately smaller than the current 5.5-inch iPhone. If Apple is able to produce enough of the 5.8-inch AMOLED displays, the larger device will entirely replace the 5.5-inch model, meaning that Apple will offer 4.7-inch and 5.8-inch iPhones in 2017, the analyst said.

Furthermore, Apple’s 2017 iPhone will include wireless charging according to the report, though specifics remain unclear. An earlier report claimed that Apple was working a long-range wireless charging technology, though the KGI note makes no mention of that. Additionally, the device will feature additional biometric recognitions, perhaps facial recognition or eye recognition, 9to5Mac said.

Phone 7 could be followed by a complete change of the Apple lineup, including handset with curved screen

Earlier this month, there was another report that pointed out at Apple’s plans of launching an iPhone with 5.8-inch OLED display sometime in 2017-2018. The report also added that the company is planning to release two variants of its large-screen iPhone 7 Plus this year out of which, one will be with a single-lens camera and one with a dual-lens camera. The dual-lens variant has been rumoured to be marketed as the iPhone Pro respectively.

  • HTC 10 smashes Benchmarks, Scores 156,091 , Leaks and Features

The upcoming HTC 10 smartphone is beginning to look more and more attractive as days pass by. A leaked photo showing an AnTuTu benchmark result from the apparent device has now appeared, showing us that it has topped competition by miles with a whopping 156091 score.
    #Powerof10 HTC 10 Leaks @OnLeaks

The HTC 10 has managed to beat the likes of the Xiaomi Mi 5, the Apple iPhone 6S and even the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge in the benchmark result. About the latter, it’s unclear whether a model with the Exynos 8890 or the Snapdragon 820 chipset was compared against. However, both these devices have never been known to cross the 150000 point barrier on AnTuTu.

The only player missing from the list is the LG G5 which too comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset inside it. However, the fact that the HTC 10 has beaten all the above mentioned devices even before arriving in the market sounds like great news for the prospects of this handset.
    HTC 10: AnTuTu Benchmark Score

A quick glance at the leaked specs of the upcoming HTC 10:
    • Display: 5.1-inch Super LCD 5, Quad HD resolution
    • OS: Android 6.0 Marshmallow
    • Processor: Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820
    • GPU: Adreno 530
    • Memory: 4GB RAM, 32GB storage (expandable)
    • Battery: 3000mAh

The unveiling of the HTC 10 has been scheduled to take place on April 12 at separate events to be held in New York, London and Taipei. Stay tuned until then to hear more about the much anticipated handset.

An image released by them via Twitter suggests that an evolved version of the firm’s highly appreciated BoomSound speaker system will be finding its way into this phone. Other details about this aspect remain a mystery though.
  • OnePlus 3 : Leaks Suggest to have Snapdragon 820 and 16 MP Rear Camera

OnePlus 3  : Benchmark confirms  that device is loaded with Snapdragon 820 and 8MP+16MP camera

The OnePlus 3 has been leaked in all its glory, courtesy benchmark website Antutu giving us a closer
look at its hardware, for the first time. The OnePlus 3 - with model number A3000 - will come with Qualcomm's latest and greatest Snapdragon 820 processor, which given the history of OnePlus flagship phones, isn't all that surprising. To recall, the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 came with Snapdragon 801 and 810, both high-end CPUs for the time.

Moving on, the OnePlus 3 is said to have 4 gigs of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt memory. It might be possible that this is the base variant of the said phone, which would mean OnePlus chucking out the 16GB base storage option that it gave along with the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2. Further, the phone is seen running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based OxygenOS which is the company's custom skin.

As for other specs, the OnePlus 3 is said to have a fulHD (1920x1080 pixel) display, possibly a 5.5-inch one. It is said to have a 16-megapixel camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel camera on the front.

It was earlier being said that the company will unveil the handset at an event (in China) on April 7. However, it has now come to light that isn't the case. OnePlus is holding an event on April 7 but the event will not see the launch of the OnePlus 3, suggests a new report from Gizmo China .

OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 3 at the end of the second quarter, the company had earlier hinted. Company co-founder Carl Pei had earlier also said that the OnePlus 3 will feature a new design , different from its current-generation flagship phones. He had even went and said that the OnePlus 3 design will captivate users just as the company's first phone, the OnePlus One.

Anyway, Xiaomi just introduced its latest flagship at the end of February during MWC 2016 which took place in Barcelona. Xiaomi-Redmi-3S-TENAA_1

Xiaomi also launched the Redmi 3 a couple of months ago, and rumors had it that the Chinese phone maker is preparing to release a new low to mid-tier device which is supposed to be similar to the Redmi 3.

Now, we have a new piece of information that suggests that the smartphone will actually be called Redmi 3S and it will come with a fingerprint sensor. According to this new report, the smartphone will look the same as the Redmi 3 and will have similar technical specifications, but it will have a fingerprint sensor, unlike the Redmi 3.

Even though there is no information about the exact release date of the Xiaomi Redmi 3S, as assume it will be launched sooner rather than later because it has already received the TENAA certification and we all know that this is the last step a device has to make before being unveiled. Some say that the launch event will take place on the 6th of April, when the company also celebrates its anniversary.

So, we don’t know when the smartphone for sure when it will be revealed but we’ve seen reports about its price and according to those reports the Xiaomi Redmi 3S will be available for purchase at a price of 799 Yuan ($122). Apart from this, there are no available details regarding the phone whether the information is official or not. If anything else comes up we’ll make sure you will find out as well.
  • DROID Turbo 2 and DROID MAXX 2 Feature Water Resistant

A new leak reveals that the incoming DROID Turbo 2 and DROID MAXX 2 will both feature water resistant designs, though they won’t be as tough as you might expect. Leaked Verizon documents obtained by PhoneArena suggests the new devices will come with a IP52 certification thanks to a special nano-coating.

That’s enough to protect your new phone from the occasional splash or spill, but it won’t keep the device safe if it’s fully submerged. That’s a far cry from IPX7 certified devices, including the Moto G (2015), that can survive for up to 30 minutes submerged under water.

The same leak also reveals that Motorola and Verizon are set to offer a four-year warranty on the DROID Turbo 2’s allegedly shatterproof display. That includes any shattering or cracking, but won’t cover smaller scratches.

The DROID Turbo 2 is expected to pack a 5.4-inch Quad HD display, a 3670mAh battery, a 21-megapixel rear camera, a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32/64GB of storage. Verizon may also sell the device through Motorola’s Moto Maker website, allowing you to personalize the design.

The DROID MAXX 2 is rumored to be more of a mid-range option, offering the same internal specs to the Moto X Play. That includes a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 21-megapixel rear camera, a 3630mAh battery, a Snapdragon 615 processor and 2GB of RAM.

  • OnePlus X images leakes once again

OnePlus X aka OnePlus Mini, the rumoured budget smartphone by the Chinese company, has once again leaked in a couple of images on the Web, alongside a listing on the US FCC certification website. The leaks come ahead of the company's Monday event in Bengaluru, where OnePlus may unveil the new smartphone.
The US FCC lists the new OnePlus handset with model number E1005. It also suggests the particular model to run on a 1.9GHz processor and support connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, FM radio, 4G LTE bands 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8, and quad-band GSM.

The first leaked image, said to have been gleaned from the US FCC by PhoneScoop, shows the smartphone kept besides a scale tipping the measurements. Since the measurements on the scale are not clearly visible, the length and breadth of the OnePlus X still remains a mystery. However, if seen carefully, the device seems to be around 140mm in length and almost 70mm in width. It would be sporting a rear camera on the top-left corner, a company logo at the centre, and dual speaker grilles, antenna breaks along the side panel, and a Micro-USB connector at the bottom. The second image shows the smartphone's front panel. Since the image is grainy, nothing can be confirmed as of now.

oneplus_x_scale_rear_front_fcc1.jpgFor now, we don't know much about the smartphone officially. However, Lau last week tipped the smartphone's official name as OnePlus X on his Weibo account.
OnePlus has sent out invites for a Monday announcement at Bengaluru, India. The invite confirms that Pete Lau, Founder and CEO, OnePlus and Vikas Agarwal, GM India, OnePlus will be present at the event. The invite titled "The Next Big Step" hints that the company may announce some India-specific partnerships. But there is also a possibility that the Chinese handset maker may showcase the OnePlus X aka OnePlus Mini at the event.
A recent leak suggested that the OnePlus X (aka Mini) may be priced at $250 (approximately Rs. 16,500) and will launch in November or December. Based on preliminary leaks, the next OnePlus smartphone is said to finally feature a MediaTek chipset - MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795T coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It is also likely to feature a 5-inch IPS display with full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) screen resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 or 4 cover alongside an oleophobic and hydrophobic coating on top. For the cameras, the OnePlus X may sport a 13-megapixel Sony IMX258 camera with an f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording, and dual-tone LED flash. A 5-megapixel front-facing camera is also rumoured. The handset is expected to pack a 3000-3100mAh non-removable battery alongside the USB Type-C port. Other rumoured connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, and Wi-Fi. The OnePlus X, unlike the OnePlus 2, is said to feature fingerprint scanner on the back panel instead of the home button - this is in line with leaked images.
