It is considered a sequel to the underrated and much overlooked Mirror's Edge, which was released in 2008. The prequel was praised for its innovative and unique take on combat and parkour. The gameplay alone was so good but the developers combined it with an amazing soundtrack which was just icing on the cake. The game is set to be released on May 24.
2. No Man's Sky
No Man's Sky is an upcoming first person, open world survival game. The game is published and developed by Hello Games. The game's main emphasis is on exploration where players are free to explore something like a mini galaxy. Visually, the game looks stunning. The game was so impressive that Sony Computer Entertainment offered Hello Games its promotional and marketing support.It also won the "Best Original Game" and "Best Indie Game" at E3 2014. The game is set to hit the stores on June 21.
3. Dark Souls III
Dark Souls III is an action RPG developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco.
The game franchised has developed a reputation for its excruciatingly difficult gameplay loved by hardocre RPG games all around the world. The game is rumoured to be the last of the franchise and the gamers will be hoping for a worthy send off. Chloi Rad of IGN gave the game a solid 9.5/10 running out of superlatives. The game is set to be released on April 12.
4. Legend of Zelda Wii U
The Legend of Zelda is the working title of an upcoming action adventure game developed and published by Nintendo. The game franchise is one the best selling game franchises of all time with only Mario having a better track record. The trailers of the game received much praise for the beautiful graphics and its open world. Many gaming communities have already rated it as "most anticipated game of 2016".
5. Uncharted 4 : A Thief's End
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is an upcoming third person shooter. The game will be the fourth installment in the Uncharted series continuing the chronicles of Nathan Drake. The franchise has become the front face of Playstation console. The game is set to become the best looking game on PS4. Apart from the visuals, it has received widespread approval for its immersive story, loving characters and simple yet effective gameplay. IGN named the game its " most anticipated game of 2016" . The game will release of May 10.
