Micromax launches the new Canvas Amaze 2 smartphone in India on Wednesday. Priced at Rs. 7,499. The new Micromax Canvas Amaze 2 features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display and come with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection from scratches. It is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM.
The handset packs 16GB of onboard storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 64GB). The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Canvas Amaze 2 smartphone features dual-SIM support and is backed by a 2500mAh battery. The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. The handset supports 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB connectivity options. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
